World's Worst
The MC calls out a role or situation and players compete to demonstrate the absolute worst possible version of it. Quick, punchy and great for late in a show.
About
World's Worst is a rapid-fire short-form game in which each player must offer the worst conceivable example of whatever is called. The comedy comes from specificity: vague badness is not funny but the worst surgeon who only talks about their own problems is. It is a strong late-show game because it is high-energy and rewards commitment over cleverness.
How to Play
- 1
The MC calls out a role, situation or product from audience suggestions: 'World's worst surgeon', 'world's worst best man speech', 'world's worst theme park'.
- 2
Players take turns stepping forward and offering their worst example in a single line or short physical moment.
- 3
Each response should top the previous one in commitment or absurdity.
- 4
Multiple players can go in rapid succession. The MC keeps the pace fast.
- 5
After 4-6 strong responses, the MC calls a new prompt.
Variations
- -World's best: flip the prompt and play it earnestly. The contrast between 'world's best surgeon' played with complete seriousness and 'world's worst' is often funnier than the worst version.
