About

The group stands in a line. A conductor assigns each player an emotion. By pointing at players, raising and lowering volume, and combining players, the conductor creates an ensemble emotional performance - layering, soloing, and blending emotions like instruments.

How to Play

  1. 1

Assign each player a distinct emotion.

  2. 2

The conductor points to players to start their emotion 'performing.'

  3. 3

Conductor can adjust volume (louder/softer) with hand gestures.

  4. 4

Layer multiple emotions simultaneously, then strip them back.

  5. 5

End with a crescendo or a sudden silence.
